Renovation of a mixed-use development in Riverside, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a museum.

**As of January 07, 2021, project has not been awarded. Provide all labor, materials, tools and equipment necessary for the renovation and construction of the existing City of Riverside Main Library into the Cheech Marin Center for Chicano Art & Culture (The Cheech Art Center) in accordance with attached construction plans, technical specifications, contract documents in compliance with City of Riverside codes, guidelines, regulations, and provisions State of California and Federal codes, regulations and laws, and all other applicable requirements as detailed in the sample contract. Bidder shall be responsible for obtaining all required permits under their business name, and the City shall be responsible for paying all required permits for the scope of work. The City of Riverside General Services Department has determined bidders shall hold a valid Class B General Building Contractor State of California Contractors license in good standing. Any questions pertaining to the items, specifications and/or scope of this bid should be directed to the Q&A tab BEFORE 5:00pm PT on July 8, 2020. Proposal Guaranty in the form of a Cashiers check or Certified check must be submitted to the Purchasing Manager, at 6th Floor, 3900 Main Street, Riverside, CA 92522, prior to the Bid Due Date. All other required documents must be uploaded electronically. All Prospective Bidders and sub-bidders will be required to comply fully with the following: 1) City of Riverside Resolution No. 23256, and subsequent amendments thereto specifying the current prevailing rate of per diem wages for each craft, classification or type of workman, which schedules are on file in the State of California) Upon award Bidder will obtain City of Riverside Business Tax Certificate, if they do not already hold one. Pursuant to Section 22300 of the Public Contract Code of the State of California, the Contractor will be permitted to substitute those securities set forth in said sections for any monies withheld to ensure performance of the contract. A Bid Guarantee in the form of a Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of the total bid must be uploaded prior to the Bid Due Date. Proposal Guarantee in the form of a Cashiers check or Certified check must be submitted to the Purchasing Manager, at 6th Floor, 3900 Main Street, Riverside, CA 92522, prior to the hour and the date stated above. Bid prices shall be firm for at least one-hundred and twenty (120) calendar days from date of proposal opening to permit staff evaluation and City Council award. Upon award, prices quoted will be in effect for the term of the contract. The City Council reserves the right to waive any irregularities or informalities and further reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
