Provide all labor, materials, tools and equipment necessary for the renovation and construction of the existing City of Riverside Main Library into the Cheech Marin Center for Chicano Art & Culture (The Cheech Art Center) in accordance with attached construction plans, technical specifications, contract documents in compliance with City of Riverside codes, guidelines, regulations, and provisions State of California and Federal codes, regulations and laws, and all other applicable requirements as detailed in the sample contract. Bidder shall be responsible for obtaining all required permits under their business name, and the City shall be responsible for paying all required permits for the scope of work. The City of Riverside General Services Department has determined bidders shall hold a valid Class B General Building Contractor State of California Contractors license in good standing. Pursuant to Section 22300 of the Public Contract Code of the State of California, the Contractor will be permitted to substitute those securities set forth in said sections for any monies withheld to ensure performance of the contract.
