Site work and paving for a civil project in Fort Erie, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; for paving for a road / highway; and road / highway.
The Lakeside Road project consists of the replacement of the existing 150mm diameter cast iron watermain with approximately 1000m of new 150mm diameter PVC watermain. As identified in the 2017 Water Master Plan, the watermain was identified as a moderate risk asset for failure due to age, material and condition. Based on the recent CCTV inspection report, the existing 200mm AC sanitary sewer installed in 1973 was also identified as a moderate risk asset for poor structural condition. In addition, improvements will be made in the existing drainage system including the installation of a new storm sewer. Further, a full reconstruction of the road will be required.
