Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Providence, Rhode Island. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
Work includes demolition of existing wet well concrete divider walls, submersible pumps and control panel, valves and piping, flow meters, float switches, gas detectors, stairs, handrails, ladders, grating, hatch frames, doors, lighting, conduit, wire, ventilation fans, ductwork, and water service piping. Work also includes providing a new concrete sump area in the wet well, coatings, metals, grating, submersible pumps, pump control panel, control system integration, valves and piping, flow meters, level sensors, gas detectors, ventilation fans and ductwork, stairs, handrails, hatches, doors, lighting, conduit, wire, junction boxes, motor starters and other electrical work. Note that this project was previously bid in May 2018. Time of Completion for this project shall be 240 Calendar Days from the Notice To Proceed. It is expected that project award will occur within 60 calendar days of the public bid opening, but may extend as long as 120 calendar days from bid opening date.
