Renovation of a multi-residential development in Providence, Rhode Island. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
**As of March 21, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established.** SCOPE OF WORK The overall objective of this initiative is to replace all security entrance doors on all the brick buildings both front and rear. There are generally 4 doors on each of the full-size buildings. 31 Salmon St. is the only building that is different and there are 4 half size buildings with two doors each. 31 salmon is the only building that has two doors that do not have a viewing glass Approximate Delivery Date / Start Date: 05/30/2025 RFI Deadline and Procedures: Monday, January 27, 2025, by 2:00 PM EST Address all pre-bid questions or requests for information pertaining to this project and bid documents to Jeffrey Bent, Sr. Project Manager, jbent@provhousing.org All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty in the form of a certified check, treasurers or cashiers check drawn on a responsible bank or trust company or a satisfactory bid bond Bid Guaranty is ten (10%) percent of the bid amount. he Contractor shall furnish Performance and Payment bonds, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, with a corporate surety approved by the Owner. The Providence Housing Authority reserves the right: To reject any or all bids, to waive informality in the IFB process, or to terminate the process at any time, if deemed to by the Authority to be in its best interest.
