For the following work: 2019 Bituminous Paving (Road Bid) 5868 Tons of 12.5 mm Superpave, WMA PG 64-22 Wearing Course, 220 LB/SY, in place. 15,312 SY, 2" Depth Gutter Milling 11,425 LF 4" Double Yellow Center Lines with Glass Beads 313 LF 4" Single White Edge Lines with Glass Beads 8 Thermoplastic Arrow Pavement Markings 6 Thermoplastic Only Pavement Markings 75 LF 24" Thermoplastic Stop Bar Pavement Markings 150 LF 12" Thermoplastic Stop Bar Pavement Markings. The bids will be presented to the Hanover Township Board of Supervisors at the regularly scheduled meeting on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at 7:00 PM with the intent to Award. All materials and workmanship must meet the requirements and standards of PennDOT Publication 408 - Specifications, and bidders must be PennDOT prequalified. All bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten (10%) percent of the bid made payable to Hanover Township. The successful bidder will be required to provide Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of 100% of the contract price within 20 days of the award of the contract. All work must be completed by August 2, 2019, for the Bituminous Paving (Road Bid); liquidated damages will apply at the rate of $875.00 per day for each day beyond these dates that the work remains incomplete. The Hanover Township Board of Supervisors reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all proposals or portions thereof, and to delete projects and or portions of the project depending on budgetary constraints and also to waive any technicalities deemed to be in the best interest of the Township.
