Questions received less than FIVE (5) DAYS before the date for the opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by the The project consists of the construction of retaining walls and concrete footings, furnishing all supervision, personnel, labor, materials, machinery and equipment, tools, appurtenances, and all other associated work listed in the Project Manual and as indicated on the Contract Plans. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check drawn to the order of Freemansburg Borough or a Bid Bond in favor of Freemansburg Borough at 5% of the total bid price. Said check or bond shall be subject to the conditions in the Instructions to Bidders. The work in connection with this project constitutes Public Works by a Public Body under the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. Bidders are advised that prevailing minimum wage rates, promulgated by the Pennsylvania Secretary of Labor, must be paid to workers employed on this project. NO Pre-Bid Meeting will be held for this project No bid may be withdrawn within sixty (60) days of the opening date. Freemansburg Borough reserves the right to reject all bids and waive any bidding informalities.
