Question Deadline 09/20/2024 at 1:00 PM ET Deadline to submit Questions online. Questions received less than FIVE (5) days before the date for the opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by the addenda will be binding. The project consists of the construction of retaining walls and concrete footings, furnishing all supervision, personnel, labor, materials, machinery and equipment, tools, appurtenances, and all other associated work listed herein and as indicated in the plans. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check drawn to the order of Freemansburg Borough or a Bid Bond in favor of Freemansburg Borough at 5% of the total bid price. Said check or bond shall be subject to the conditions in the Instructions to Bidders. Bidders are advised that workers employed on this project must be paid federal Davis-Bacon wage rates promulgated by the U.S. government (through SAM.gov). No bid may be withdrawn within sixty (60) days of the opening date. Freemansburg Borough reserves the right to reject all bids and waive any bidding informalities.
