Site work and paving for a road / highway in Mount Bethel, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
***As of April 10, 2019 project has not yet awarded. Project is currenty under review. The project consists of placing either Single or Double Bituminous Seal Coat using a Polymer Modified Emulsion, CRS-2PM (E-3M) or RS-2PM (E-2M) and #8 Stone with a 1.0% Loss by Wash and Slurry Seal where indicated. All material to be complete-in-place in conformance with PennDOT Pub. 408, Sections 470 and 482. Bidders need to be prequalified by PennDOT (Sec. 102.01). Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check or Bid Bond in the amount of 5% made payable to the municipality as a proposal guarantee which; it is understood, will be forfeited in case the contractor fails to comply with the requirement of the proposal. The work in connection with this project constitutes a Public Works by a Public Body under Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. Bidders are advised prevailing minimum wage rates, promulgated by the Pennsylvania Secretary of Labor, must be paid to workmen employed on this project. No bid may be withdrawn within sixty (60) days of the date of the bid opening. Upper Mt Bethel Township reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any bidding informalities.
