Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in La Jolla, California. Completed plans call for the construction of a 30,000-square-foot educational facility; 2,048-bed multi-residential development; 26,000-square-foot retail development; for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; 20,000-square-foot conference / convention center; 11,000-square-foot warehouse / distribution facility; and 1,200-square-foot parking garage.

Future College (Phase 2 Trades Sub Package Prequalifications) The Future College Living and Learning Neighborhood project will be located at the southwestern edge of the main campus at Parking Lots P102 and P103 and is envisioned to provide a vibrant multi-purpose living and learning neighborhood with a mixed use including housing, academic space, retail, and below grade parking. The project will provide Lower Division Undergraduate Housing with a minimum of 2,048 beds per the following targets: o 896 beds in the form of four occupant apartments (with kitchens) o 336 beds in the form of eight occupant suites (without kitchens) o 768 beds in the form of twelve occupant suites (without kitchens) o 42 beds are to be provided for student employee (RA) use o 8 beds for para profession use in the form of four two-bedroom apartments In addition to housing students, the project will also include: o 30,000 GSF amenity and residential support spaces o 20,000 GSF conference center o 11,000 GSF HDH warehouse/maintenance shop. o 25,000 GSF administrative space for new College Provost and classrooms o 4,100 GSF lecture hall o 26,000 GSF retail facilities o 1,200 stall below-grade parking structure Questions Deadline 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 Entities to complete and submit a Prequalification Questionnaire and other information referenced below, for purpose of prequalifying to submit a bid for the construction of specific trades for the following project ("Project"): All Prequalification Questionnaires and other information required by the Request for Prequalification to be submitted by Applicants ("Prequalification Submittals") shall be prepared in conformance with the Request for Prequalification using the forms referenced in or attached thereto. All Contractors and Subcontractors Must Be Registered With the Department of Industrial Relations (Dir) at Bid Time. For more information and to register through online. The successful Bidder shall pay all persons providing construction services and/or any labor on site, including any University location, no less than the UC Fair Wage (defined $15 per hour as of 10/1/17) and shall comply with all applicable federal, state, and local working condition requirements.
