The purpose of this Request for Proposal (''RFP'') is to invite qualified bidders to prepare and submit proposals to furnish Chemical Water Treatment services to the University of California San Diego (''UC San Diego'' or ''University''), in accordance with the requirements set forth in this RFP. This solicitation will be bid as two (2) separate Modules as described below. Proposers are encouraged to respond to Module #1 and/or Module #2. Each Module may be awarded separately or together as the interests of the University may appear. The anticipated term of any agreement issued as a result of this RFP will be for an initial period of three (3) years. UC may renew the Agreement for a Renewal Term not to exceed (7) seven years (Renewal Term), which may be structured in one or multi-year terms not to exceed the overall Renewal Term, for a total of 10 years on the same terms and conditions. Exercise of any Renewal Term will require formal written agreement (Amendment) between UC and Supplier at least 30 calendar days before the end of the Initial Term or any Renewal Term.
