Renovation of a water / sewer project in Mexico Beach, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The project includes the replacement of electrical equipment and controls. Project will also include raising the control building and placing it on raised foundation. The project will include rehab of the wet well (approximately 12 ft. x 20 ft.). Project also includes installation of an elevated platform and new diesel powered back-up generator. Finally, the project includes two new 75 horsepower pumps. Liquidated damages for failure to complete the project on the specified date will be set at $100.00 per day. The City of Mexico Beach reserves the right to waive informalities in any bid, to accept and/or reject any or all bids, and to accept the bid that in their judgment will be in their best interest. All bids shall remain firm for a period of ninety (90) days after the opening. The awarding by the City Council will be held on April 9th, 2019. Questions regarding the project must be submitted in writing to Dina Bautista, Dewberry, at dbautista@de wberry.com no later than 2:00 p.m. Central Time on April 1st, 2019.All bidders shall comply with all applicable State and local laws concerning licensing registration and regulation of contractors doing business to the State of Florida.
