Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a municipal facility in Freemansburg, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the addition of a municipal facility; for the renovation of a municipal facility; for the demolition of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
As of 10/15/2019 No start and end date yet but it may take 2-3 weeks for them to start and 6 months to 1 year to complete. The project is to renovate the Borough Hall portion of the Freemansburg Municipal Building located at 600 Monroe Street, Freemansburg, and includes work provided under four (4) separate contracts as follows: (1) General Contractor, (2) Mechanical Construction, (3) Electrical Construction, and (4) Plumbing Construction. Borough of Freemansburg will consider awarding Contracts at its public meeting on Monday, September 23, 2019, at 7:00 PM (EST) at said Municipal Building. A Bid Bond in the amount of 10 % of the full amount of the bid is required at time of bid submission via the Bid Bond form provided in the Bidding Documents. Performance Bond, Payment Bond, and Stipulation Against Liens as specified in the Specifications, as amended, are required within 20 days after Freemansburg's notice of award to successful bidder(s). At the time of bid submission, bidders are required to provide confirmation of compliance with Act 127 of 2012, Pennsylvania's Public Works Employment Verification Act. Also, please be advised that the awarded Contracts are subject to Prevailing Minimum Wage Determination established by the United States Department of Labor. Also, awarded Contracts are subject to Pennsylvania's Steel Procurement Act, Pennsylvania's Trade Practices Act and other applicable local, state or federal law. Questions will be accepted until 10:00 AM (EST), Wednesday, August 28, 2019, via PennBid. Written or verbal questions will also be accepted at the Prebid Conference referenced above. Questions after Prebid Conference may be disregarded by Borough. Any additional Addenda (if any) to the Bidding Documents will be issued by Freemansburg by 11:30 AM (EST) on Tuesday, September 3, 2019, via PennBid. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the opening of bids without the consent of Freemansburg. Within three (3) business days after the date of the bid opening, the apparent low bidder and the next two lowest bidders must submit originals of bidder's bid to Freemansburg, c/o Gerald Gasda, Manager, 600 Monroe Street, Freemansburg, PA 18017. Awarded bidder(s) are required to enter into required Contract with Freemansburg within 20 days after Freemansburg's notice of award via contractual documents referenced in Bidding Documents. Before commencing work, successful bidder(s) must furnish Freemansburg with evidence of each insurance policy as required by the contractual documents in the Bidding Documents. Freemansburg reserves the right waive any non-material informalities in the bidding process and to reject any and all bids. *The contact(s) will not accept phone call inquiries at this time.
