Site work and new construction of a civil project in New Albany, Mississippi. Completed plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
As of July 18,2019 project has been awarded to Paul Smithey Construction amount of $349,470.60. Construction of MS Highway 348 Waterline Extension negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (at par value), shall be submitted with each bid in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid.Minority and Woman Owned Business Enterprises are solicited to bid on this contract as prime contractors and are encouraged to make inquires regarding potential subcontracting opportunities, equipment, material and/or supply needs. Union County is an Equal Opportunity Employer, and hereby notifies all Bidders will be afforded the full opportunities to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, sexual preference, marital or veteran status, or any other legally protected status in consideration for an award.
