Demolition, site work and renovation of a civil project in South Lake Tahoe, California. Completed plans call for the demolition of a water / sewer project; for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work to be performed consists of: Replacement of an existing approximately 570,000 gallon welded steel recycled water tank with new welded steel with aluminum roof recycled water tank of similar size on existing foundation, including demolishing existing tank, making mechanical modifications, and provide and install new tank including all appurtenances. Also includes mechanical modifications of underground and above ground piping, isolation valves, and a flow control valve on twelve inch (12") and twenty-four inch (24") nominal diameter facilities on both low pressure (approximately 20 psi operating) and high pressure (approximately 550 psi operating) pipelines. Includes site demolition and improvements including site controls, paving, and landscaping. Q and A Deadline March 16,2020 5:00 PM The South Tahoe Public Utility District reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in a bid, and to make awards to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder in the best interest of the District. If alternate bid items are called for in the Contract Documents, the lowest bid will be determined on the basis of the base bid only Plan and Specification documents will be uploaded on or before March 6th, 2020.
