Renovation of an educational facility in Los Angeles, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 5,609-square-foot, two-story above grade educational facility.
Subject to conditions prescribed by the University of California, Los Angeles, responses to the University's prequalification documents for a Combined Bid CM at Risk contract are sought from prospective prime contractor bidders Prequalified bidders will be required to have the following California contractor's license(s): B License (General Building) MP100 170 Orthopedic Clinic (945442.01) Renovation of approximately 4,600 GSF on the first floor of Medical Plaza (MP) 100 building to provide additional outpatient clinic space. The project will covert approximately 4,600 GSF of vacant suite, formerly a leased restaurant, into an outpatient clinic to be used as an Orthopedic clinic. The renovated suite will include a waiting/reception area, exam rooms, cast room, x-ray room, offices, and related support for patients and staff. The MEP systems will be built to comply with OSHPD 3 requirements. Anticipated Contract Value of this project: $ 3,600,000 MP100 700 Clinic Renovation (944125.01) Renovation of approximately 13,200 GSF on the 7th floor of Medical Plaza (MP) 100 building to provide space for the Pfleger Liver Institute, and Theranostics clinics. The renovated suite for the Phleger Liver Institute will provide additional space for the treatment of patients with various types of liver disorders and will include exam rooms, procedure rooms, and related support services areas. The renovated suite for the Theranostics clinic will provide infusion rooms, nurse stations, and support service spaces. Radiation protection shielding will be installed in the infusion rooms. The clinic will be licensed and will comply with OSHPD 3 requirements. Anticipated Contract Value of this project: $8,000,000 MP100 Suite 100 CT and MRI Replacement (944127.01) Renovation of approximately 1,700 SF, on the first floor of the Medical Plaza 100 building. The project will provide an MRI room and a CT room, each with associated equipment. An existing Siemens Sonata 1.5T MRI and Siemens Sensation 64 CT Scanner will be replaced with the latest Siemens CT and MRI scanning equipment. An ADA accessible patient dressing area and a combined control room, located between the MRI and CT scanning rooms, will be also be provided. Scope includes radiation protection shielding, plumbing, mechanical, nurse call and security systems, electrical and fire life safety modifications. The facility will be licensed and will comply with OSHPD 3 requirements.
