Site work for a mixed-use development in Windsor, Colorado. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and pre-engineered storage facility.
The Work of this Contract consists of the removal of asphalt pavement, relocation of concrete and crusher fine trails, installation of concrete edging and handicap parking spaces, gravel drive and parking areas, and boulder river access areas including intake and outtake areas as indicated in the drawings and specified herein. At said place and time, and promptly thereafter, all bids that have been duly received will be publicly opened and read aloud. All interested parties are invited to attend. Bids shall be a combination of lump sum and unit prices per the Bid Form. All work associated with this project shall be completed by April 1, 2021. Liquidated damages will commence on April 2, 2021, unless an extension is granted. A hard copy of the bid documents will not be available. Each Bidder shall file with his Bid a an acceptable Bid security in the form of a bidder's bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The Bidder to whom a Contract is awarded will be required to furnish a Performance Bond guaranteeing faithful performance and a Labor and Material Payment Bond guaranteeing payment of all debts arising out of the Work. No Bid may be withdrawn for the period of time after the date Bids are opened Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any informalities or irregularities therein, and to reject nonconforming, non-responsive, or conditional bids. The decision of the Owner shall be final.
