The Athletics Marketing and Digital Media Department coordinates and executes all marketing, broadcast, social media and vide board initiatives for the athletic department. San Jose State Athletics is seeking to invest in cutting edge visual technology equipment that can be utilized for broadcasts and video board operations of the athletic events on campus. The equipment purchased would enhance the production quality and viewer experience of the broadcast of games and video board entertainment. The goal of this purchase is to invest in equipment that is industry-leading, durable, and versatile in the broadcast production space. All questions related to this RFP must be submitted via email to Karen McCall at karen.mccall@sjsu.edu by 4:00 P.M Pacific Time on 5/12/2020. Verbal or faxed questions will not be accepted. All written questions will be combined and answered in writing and published in electronically. Answers may also be conveyed to all prospective bidders via the email contact provided to the University. Oral explanations or instructions will not bind the University. The vendor shall have the broadcast video equipment delivered by June 30, 2020. The University reserves the right to withdraw the award at any time for any reason during the Contract negotiation process. Any changes to the Contract shall be mutually agreed upon by the Contractor and the University in writing. In the event the successful Contractor does not execute the Contract as required, the award of the Contract may then be offered to the next highest ranked Contractor or the University may decide to solicit new Proposals.
