Renovation of a water / sewer project in Oley, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The Project consists of replacement of the existing grinder with a new vertical fine screen; removal of existing submersible influent pumps; construction of new dry well building; installation of new self-priming pumps; upgrade of the ventilation system and lighting inside the wet well; addition of a new area velocity meter and relocation of the influent sampler; and associated site improvements. The Project will be bid as three contracts: General, Mechanical, and Electrical. Bidders assume responsibility that their Bid is received prior to the designated bid opening time and date. Requests for clarification are due Wednesday, August 12, 2020 4:00:00 PM [(UTC-05:00) Eastern Time (US & Canada)]. Proposals shall be valid for one hundred twenty (120) calendar days from the date of Bid opening. Addenda, if any, will be issued through the PennBid Program. The Oley Township Municipal Authority, Owner hereby reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all bidders, to refuse and reject any or all bids submitted, to waive any informality in bids received, and to accept the Bid, which is in the best interest of the Authority, consistent with the laws affecting municipal contract awards.
