Baker Co. Bd. Of Commissioners will receive bids for all labor, equipment, materials, and clean up to perform all of the operations in connection with the following improvements to the Baker Co. Courthouse. 1. Scraping, priming, & painting the courtroom, hall, and breakroom ceilings. Scraping, priming, & painting the exterior gables, entrances, facia board and trim. Replace/Repair damaged windows, sills, frames, and trim on the Courthouse at 167 Baker Place, Newton, Ga. 39870. Baker County reserves the right to reject any/all bids. Baker County is an equal opportunity employer. -Remove all interior and exterior wood trim on sixty three (63) windows. -Repair all damaged window flashing -Install sixty three (63) new 3'4" X 7'8" custom built stain grade, 9X9 true divided light, single pane (non insulated), Sapele, double hung window units. -Install new clear pine casing and mulls between the windows as well as new bed mold and sill nosing. -Install new, interior, clear pine window trim to match the existing trim -Replace existing, water damaged trim at exterior gables, entrance ways, and facia boards with new matching trim Cover/Protect existing furnishings and surfaces from paint, stain, dust, debris. -Prepare the existing tin ceilings in the courtroom and hallway, as well as the wood ceilings in the breakroom for new paint. -Prime and paint tin ceilings in courtroom and hallway, as well as the wood ceilings in the breakroom. -Prime and paint all new exterior trim and windows. -Stain new interior window trim to match existing trim color -Prime and paint all exterior trim including gables. -An evaluation/scoring criteria will be completed by the Board of Commissioners to include : 1.) Overall experience of Company & documented results, 35%; 2.) Strategic Thinking/Planning Approach ,40% ; 3.) Budget Approach/Cost Effectiveness, 25%.
