Citywide maintenance of assessed and non-assessed street lighting.. Contract Duration: Calendar Years 2021-2023 City of Akron Local Goal: 18% EDGE/DBE/MBE/WBE/SBE/VBE (minimum 3% WBE) Engineer's Estimate: $885,400. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check in the sum of 5% of bids on a solvent bank, or a bid bond in like amount, acceptable to the City of Akron, as a guarantee, that if the proposal is accepted, a contract will be entered into. Except as provided in Section 34.09 of the City's Code of Ordinance, the Proposer to whom the Agreement is awarded will be required to furnish a performance and payment bond in the sum of 100% of the Contract Price for the faithful performance of the contract. The performance and payment bond shall remain in full effect until Final Completion of the Project.
