Renovation of a detention facility in Shakopee, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
**As of April 1, 2021, this project has been awarded to Greiner Construction Inc. but award amount not available. The work will be done under one prime contract that includes: General, Mechanical, and Electrical construction. The following summary is a general guide to the scope of work. It should not be construed as a detailed list of work included in the contract. Order any materials required for project completion. Remove existing chiller and cooling tower. Replace with new air cooled chiller and remote evaporator. Remove two existing condenser water pumps and associated piping. Remove two existing chilled water pumps and replace with new pumps. Add chilled water filter separator. Add exhaust fan. Project closeout. This solicitation has been designated to be awarded to a State of Minnesota Targeted Group (TG), Economically Disadvantaged (ED), or Veteran-Owned Small Businesses. ONLY responses received from Contractors that are TG/ED/VO certified through the Department of Administration, Office of Equity and Procurement, will be considered.
