The Matanuska-Susitna Borough is soliciting bids from qualified contractors to perform bridge repairs to include excavation and backfilling operations to facilitate the removal and replacement of abutment backwalls and wingwalls, removing and resetting the spans to increase expansion gaps at the ends of the spans and concrete repairs and concrete sealing at all structures. Site clearing and replanting and soil erosion and sediment control are also included in this project. This project is partially funded by a Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Disaster Recovery Grant DR-4413 Project Worksheet (PW) 137. Questions Due Date: August 24, 2021 by 5:00 PM The Matanuska-Susitna Borough reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, waive any and all technicalities or informalities it deems appropriate. Award of this project is subject to the availability of funding.
