Site work for a mixed-use development in Creston, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The work involves terminal and highway improvements to Balfour terminal and Kootenay Bay terminal, including: - Landside ferry terminal improvements, with pavement rehabilitation and widening, construction of new curbs, sidewalks and ancillary features; Widening and reconstruction of the existing Highway No. 3A and Highway 31 (approx. 0.46 km) at Balfour Ferry terminal; and - Relocation and reconfiguration of Highway 31 at Busk Road intersection, realignment of approx. 0.23 km of Busk Road and Upper Balfour Road. Balfour Terminal approximately 33 km east of Nelson, BC, on Highway No. 3A and Highway No. 31; and Kootenay Bay Terminal approximately 81 km north of Creston, BC, on Highway No. 3A.
