Site work for a civil project in Creston, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The RDCK is inviting Tenders for Construction services for the Creston Phase 1 Closure. Construction efforts include but are not limited to earthworks, geosynthetics installation, road construction, stormwater management infrastructure construction and landfill gas management infrastructure construction. 1. Earthworks: The Contractor is required prepare the Landfill surface to receive the landfill closure system. Work includes surface regarding of Phase 1E. 2. Final Cover System: The Contractor is required to construct the Phase 1E closure system, composed of aggregate, soil and geosynthetics. 3. Road Construction: Works include construction of road structure within the Phase 1E Closure footprint. 4. Stormwater Management: Works includes the supply and installation of stormwater ditchs, culverts, downchute, and rip rap dissipation structures. 5. Landfill Gas Management: Works include the supply and installation of the passive LFG venting system composed of perforated collectors below the geomembrane cover system.
