The Work to be performed under this Contract shall consist of furnishing all equipment, materials, supplies, and manufactured articles; furnishing all transportation and services, including fuel, power, water, and essential communications; and performing of all labor, work, installation, testing or other operations required for the Demolition of existing high service pumps, gate valves, check valves, piping, fittings, appurtenances, lighting, Florida Power and Light (FPL) transformer and electrical control systems for the purpose of installing new high service pumps, gate valves, check valves, piping, fittings, appurtenances, lighting, motor control center (MCC) and FPL transformer. Work to be performed also consists of furnishing all labor, equipment and materials for furnishing and installing an electrical building to house the new electrical control systems such as the main breaker, automatic transfer switch (ATS), variable frequency drives (VFD's), programmable logic controller (PLC) and all various mechanical, structural, and electrical/instrumentation appurtenances and modifications, including various civil/site improvements. Reference is made to the Contract Specifications dated April 2020 as prepared by Baxter & Woodman, Consulting Engineers attached to the Invitation to Bid as Exhibit 1. It is the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure that all pages are included. Therefore, all Bidders are advised to thoroughly examine this package. One contract will be awarded for all work outlined and described in the plans and specifications. Further instructions and conditions are stated in the bidding documents. The TOWN reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids and waive technicalities and/or any irregularities therein. The TOWN further reserves the right to award a contract to the bidder whose proposal best serves the interests of the TOWN in the sole discretion of the TOWN.
