As of 5/24/2021 project was already awarded for $1,118,141.25. The Town of Jupiter Island, FL, ("Town") is soliciting bids from contractors (referred to as "Contractors" or "Bidders"), to bid on the Gomez Corridor Water System and Low Pressure Sewer System project for the Town's South Martin Regional Utility ("SMRU") (the "Project"). The Project will be located on SE Gomez Road, SE Palm Street, SE Coconut Street, SE Driftwood Street, SE Banyan Tree Street, SE Royal Street, SE Sabal Street, SE Mangrove Street, SE Kingsley Street, and SE Delafield Street, in Hobe Sound, Florida. The Water System component of the Project consists of the construction of approximately 7,770 linear feet of new 6-inch HDPE Water Main pipe via horizontal directional drill methods, along with approximately 820 LF of 6" PVC water main via open cut, and the abandonment of approximately 4,600 linear feet of 4 to 6-inch water main. The Low Pressure Sewer System component of the Project consists of the construction of approximately 16,710 linear feet of new 2 to 4-inch HDPE low pressure force main pipe via horizontal directional drill methods, along with approximately 630 linear feet of 2 to 4-inch PVC low pressure force main via open cut, and the rehabilitation of the terminal lift station.
