Pierce County is intending to hire a firm that is capable and qualified to provide Right of Way Services to Pierce County. Project Background: Planned improvements of 122nd Avenue East from 145th Street East to 136th Street East (CRP 5763) are intended to enhance safety, increase capacity, and relieve traffic congestion. Improvements will include the following: Expand to one northbound lane, a two-way left turn lane, and two southbound lanes. Install cement concrete curb, gutter, and sidewalks. Install an enclosed storm drainage system, and water quality treatment and storage facilities. Install street lighting. Install a new traffic signal system at 144th Street East. The objective of the work is to obtain the necessary property rights and provide applicable relocation assistance and advisory services following all applicable federal, state, local and county laws, rules, regulations, policies and procedures, in order to ensure successful WSDOT certification, should the project require such. The Consultant shall provide acquisition services and relocation assistance and advisory services using procedures specified by Pierce County (the County) and in accordance with The Uniform Relocation Assistance and Real Property Acquisitions Policies Act of 1970, as amended (The Uniform Act), the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) Right of Way Manual, and the WSDOT Local Agency Guidelines Manual (LAG Manual).
