The deposits of bidders, other than the one(s) to whom the contracts is (are) awarded, will be returned immediately after execution of the contract. All projects to be completed as noted on individual proposals. Said bids will be awarded at the Board of Supervisors meeting on May 27, 2021 at 6:00 pm. prevailing time. South Middleton Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or to readvertise and accept any proposal deemed to be most favorable to the interests of South Middleton Township. The contractor will be charged $200.00 per working day until project is completed if not completed by said date. Widen road both sides. Layout accurate center line, layout outside edges to 21 feet wide.Mill outside edges 2 ft.minimum, wider if necessary, to depth of 12 inches or to depth of stable rock. Fill with 2A modified or millings delivered by township trucks to contractor road widener. Throughly compact. Mill inside edge and compacted material to 3 feet wide by 4" depth. Tack coat edge and place 4" compacted depth of 25mm base, 0-0.3M ESAL. Seal joints.
