Furnishing all materials, equipment, labor, and services for the construction of the 2021 Waterline Improvements for the City of Oregon City (City) The project includes: o Install, maintain, and remove temporary traffic control and erosion control measures. o Perform all removal of structures and obstructions and earthwork operations. o Install 2 new PRV systems and vaults located to the southeast of 602 5th Place and southeast of 601 4th Avenue within Canemah Neighborhood. o Install 1 new 8" waterline located just east of the Barclay Hills Pump station to the existing line located within Chickaree Drive and Newell Ridge Drive. o Install 1 new 4" waterline located within 13th Street southeast of Washington Street. o Construct minor roadway restoration due to installation of the new PRV systems and waterlines including aggregate base, MHMAC surfacing, concrete curb, sidewalks and landscaping. o Perform additional and incidental Work as called for by the Specifications and Plans. The City is not responsible for failure of bidders to receive notifications of changes or corrections made by the City and posted as stated above. No bid will be received or considered unless the bid contains a statement by the bidder, as part of their bid, that the provisions of ORS 279C.840 or 40 U.S.C. 276a shall be complied with, a statement as to resident bidder status, and whether the bidder is licensed under ORS 468A.720 (no asbestos removal is contemplated for this project). Prior to submission of its bid, the bidder shall be registered with the Oregon Construction Contractor's Board, and thereafter comply with the requirements of ORS 701.005 to 701.137. Evidence of workers' compensation insurance will be required before the work shall commence. The City will investigate and determine the qualifications of the apparent low bidder prior to awarding the contract. The City reserves the right to reject any bid not in compliance with all prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements, and may reject all bids, if it is in the public interest to do so.
