A former solicitation is below for reference: All bids received prior to the due date and time will be publicly opened and read on the due date and time at the Oregon City Engineering and Operations Center. The project includes: o Furnish, install, and remove temporary traffic control and erosion control measures. o Cold plane approximately 27,300 square yards of asphalt concrete roadway. o Construct approximately 5,940 Tons of Asphalt Concrete Pavement (ACP). o Construct approximately 440 cubic yards of aggregate roadway and concrete flatwork base material. o Construct twenty-five (25) new concrete curb ramps, complete with adjoining curbs and sidewalk. o Construct approximately 3,960 square feet of new concrete sidewalk. o Complete manhole and other structure grade adjustments. o Restore roadway signing and permanent pavement markings. o Install conduit, junction boxes, and illumination foundations for five (5) new streetlights. o Remove four (4) existing streetlights and foundations. o Install radar signal detection for the South 2nd Street leg of the OR99E / South 2nd Street traffic signal. o Perform additional and incidental Work as called for by the Specifications and Plans. Each proposal must be submitted on forms prescribed by the City and accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond in an amount equal to 10 percent (10%) of the total amount bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a faithful performance bond and a labor and material payment bond each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the amount of contract. The successful bidder will also be required to furnish a statutory public works bond in the amount of thirty thousand dollars ($30,000.00). Evidence of workers' compensation insurance will be required before the work shall commence. The City will investigate and determine the qualifications of the apparent low bidder prior to awarding the contract. The City reserves the right to reject any bid not in compliance with all prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements, and may reject all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
