Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in East Saint Louis, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Project base bid includes modification to existing walkways, brick screen walls and addition of steel handrails, and cast stone caps. Existing masonry expansion joints located around the exterior ofthe building will be removed and replaced. Miscellaneous areas of brick work will require tuck pointing and realignment. The existing parking lot will require demolition, removal and replacement of asphalt and sub-soils in the noted areas shown on the plans. Existing storm water pipes require repair as noted on the plans. See section01 23 00 for Alternate Bid work. Project is located at the existing Kenneth Hall Regional Office Building, East St Louis, St. Clair County, Illinois. The existing walkways are surrounded by brick screen walls that create potential hiding areas. These areas will be addressed in this project to provide a safer site. The existing parking lot has some areas of needed repair to allow for better parking conditions.
