Site work and new construction of an educational facility in Petersburg, Virginia. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a educational facility.
Scope of project is to build a combined pre-school and elementary school. The school would incorporate Petersburg's two oldest schools, Walnut Hill Elementary and Westview. As of October 31, 2025, per owner, PCPS has not moved forward with preliminary designs for either of these schools and an RFP for the Engineering Design services has not been done at this time. Once they determine whether they are going to move forward with one or either of these projects, they will post the RFP to their website as well as eVA. The first project would be the RFP for design, and this would be a design, bid, and build project. Unsolicited proposals are being accepted. (Project No. WHES-PPEA-2025-01)
