This project has been awarded to GEC Northwest Inc. in the amount of $135,167. Bids received after the time fixed for Bid Opening will not be considered. The improvements for which bids will be received are described as follows: The work to be completed under this Contract consists of improvements to Rotary Morrow Community Park and includes, but is not limited to, clearing and grubbing, demolition, grading, and gravel path construction. All work shall be performed in accordance with the Contract Plans, these Contract Provisions, and the Standard Specifications. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a proposal guarantee (certified or cashier's check or approved bond) payable to the City of Poulsbo in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the proposal price. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the City of Poulsbo. The City of Poulsbo reserves the right to waive informalities in the bidding, accept a Proposal of the lowest responsible Bidder, reject any or all Bids, republish the Call for Bids, revise or cancel the work, or require the work to be done in another way if the best interest of the City is served. The Contractor will have 30 working days to complete the work in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. The City of Poulsbo in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252,42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, colour, or national origin in consideration for an award.
