Site work for a water / sewer project in West Leechburg, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Envelopes containing bids must be designated Sealed Bid for Circle Drive Sanitary Sewer Reconstruction and I & I Elimination Project as follows using CDBG Funds: Slip Lining (Option A) or Alternate Internal Lining (Option B) of Existing 8 Sanitary Sewer 580 LF including Mainline Video Inspection; Service Line Video Inspection & Dye Testing 4 EA; 1 Spot Repair; Replace 2 Sanitary Manholes & 1 Lamphole; Replace 4 Existing Service Lines, Connections & Install Inspection Stacks; Restoration and other specified work all quantities approximate. Bid must be accompanied by satisfactory security executed by the bidder and an acceptable surety authorized to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in the amount of 10% of the bid made payable to West Leechburg Borough. Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. Proposals must be upon the form provided. No bid may be withdrawn within 90 days after the opening thereof. Contractor to comply with the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970, the Drug-Free Workplace Act of 1988, the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, and the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act of October 27, 1955 as amended and follow all applicableCDC& Pa. Dept. of Health guidelines and orders. The successful contractor must attach a Certificate of Compliance with labor standards as specified by the U.S. Department of Labor in the Davis-Bacon Act, as amended, 40 U.S.C. Sections 276(a) through 276(a)-7 and furnish the County with weekly payrolls. This project is funded in whole or in part with federal funds. Davis-Bacon wage rates and other federal requirements apply and are included in the bid documents.
