The City reserves the right to purchase additional units at its discretion, within a reasonable time, at the bid unit price, upon the concurrence of the Bidder. The City of Hot Springs is accepting bids to purchase and install a site camera tower at the Water Treatment Plant, 125 Randall Road, Hot Springs, AR. The Water Treatment Plant is located off of Amity Road in Southern Garland County. The following scope of work/specifications described are the requirements for installing the site camera tower. The tower shall be supplied and installed at the location shown in attachment B. The purpose of the tower is to provide a location to mount a Time-Lapse Camera for security and construction progress photos. The equipment bid shall be of new, current design production model and available to the commercial market. Standard items appearing in the manufacturer's published specifications furnished with the bid shall be included unless otherwise noted. The blank space to the right of each specification is to be completed with a YES response if the specification is met and a No response if not met. Any specifications not met must be explained on the "Statement of Compliance" page or the bid will be rejected. One copy of the manufacturer's published specification and warranty shall be included with the bid. The city reserves the right to review the manufacturer's specifications and to choose the unit deemed to be in the city's best interest. In this regard, bidders are hereby advised that serviceability and functionality will be factors of an award in addition to the price. The tower will need to support the City's furnished camera and solar power system. The following information on the camera and complete solar power system: Camera The camera shall be mounted on the mast The camera weighs 26 lbs. Complete Solar Power System Install the complete solar power system (model is a Work Zone Cam WZSP200 System) which contains - 2 solar panels, 1 solar panel interconnect cable, 2 batteries, 1 set of battery cables, and 2-Panel side of pole mount Install tower mounting brackets Mount two (2) solar arrays 27" H x 60" W, on the top section of the tower Install the batteries Install the controller The complete solar power system weights 283 lbs. The contractor that is awarded the bid will receive the solar power system installation manual with the Purchase Order. The tower shall be installed within 14 days from the date of the Purchase Order
