Bid Valid 120 Calendar Days after Bid Opening Liquidated Damages $2500 per calendar day Project Duration 120 calendar days (30 days for submittals and 90 days for construction) after the commencement date stated in the Notice to Proceed. Bid Bond 10.00% Payment Bond 100.00% Performance Bond 100.00% The Work for the landfill gas (LFG) control system includes connecting three LFG risers to underground piping and routing it to a new treatment system. The treatment system will consist of two (2) activated carbon units for VOC treatment, one (1) specialty activated carbon unit for hydrogen sulfide treatment and a natural gas fired thermal oxidizer. The treatment system will be installed on a concrete slab with secondary containment and will be surrounded with a security fence. A new electric service will be installed to provide three (3) phase power to the site and a natural gas line will be installed to provide fuel to the thermal oxidizer. Site improvements include rerouting the pedestrian pathway, providing a maintenance access driveway and modifying the existing landscape and irrigation through demolition and new installation.
