Ouray County is accepting sealed proposals for Annual Services for Snow Removal - Plow Trucks and Motor Graders Ouray County intends to enter into contracts with multiple qualified contractors for a one (1) year term with the option to renew for up to four (4) additional one (1) year terms. All questions relating to the proposal must be submitted via e-mail to Ouray County by 9:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 14, 2021. Emailed questions will be accepted at tbarger@ouraycountyco.gov. An addendum with answers, if required, will be available by 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 15, 2021. If an addendum is issued, the contractor must acknowledge any and all addenda in order to submit a qualifying proposal. All questions shall be in writing and emailed to Ty Barger. Two copies of the proposal must be submitted in a sealed envelope, addressed to Ouray County Administrator. Each sealed envelope containing a proposal must be plainly marked on the outside "Annual Services for Snow Removal - Plow Trucks and Motor Graders" and the envelope should bear on the outside the name of the contractor and/or company, their address, and the proposal opening date. Route tours are not mandatory but encouraged. The County will conduct a special tour with any interested contractors upon request to Ty Barger Ouray County reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals as deemed in the best interests of the County. Awarding of the proposal may not be based solely on low quotation prices, but on the overall service and past performance.
