Site work for a fire / police facility in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a fire / police facility.
This project shall be bid and awarded as six (6) different contracts Each contract consists of work by trade, as designated in a common Project Manual and Plan Set, as follows: Contract #1 - Sitework (including earthwork) Contract #2 - General Construction work Contract #3 - Fire Suppression System work Contract #4 - Plumbing System work Contract #5 - HVAC System work Contract #6 - Electrical System work No bid shall be awarded unless accompanied by Certificate of Organization and Authority, Disclosure of Ownership, together with a list of Subcontractors; and no bid shall be received without certified check for not less than 5%, nor more than 10% of the total amount bid or a bid bond for not less than 5% nor more than 10% of the total amount bid. The Notice to Contractors, the Information to Bidders, the Bid Proposal, the Certificate of Organization and Authority, Disclosure of Ownership, Bid Bond and list of Subcontractors, the PerformancePayment Bond, the General Conditions, Specifications, Plans, Addenda (if any), and all ordinances of the City applicable to this contract shall be considered a part of the contract. The time for commencement of the work shall be no sooner than ten (10) days after Common Council shall have awarded the contract and substantial completion shall be done by December 31, 2022. Final completion shall be done by January 31, 2023 except for final paving, which shall be completed by April 30, 2023.
