The work for which bids are asked includes the following: Install approximately 20,771 feet of 8" watermain in various locations south of Viebahn Street A bid bond or Surety 2000 in the amount of 5% of the bid must accompany each proposal as a guaranty. The right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality is reserved by the City This project will be a partially or fully federally financed construction project subject to the requirements of the DavisBacon and related Acts (DBRA), and the contract documents will contain a prevailing wage determination. The successful Bidder on this work understands the goods and services are being funded with monies made available by the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund that have statutory requirements commonly known as "American Iron and Steel;" that requires all of the iron and steel products used in the project to be produced in the United States ("American Iron and Steel Requirement") including iron and steel products provided by the Contactor. All qualified Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) firms desiring to bid as a General Contractor, sub-contractor, professional service provider, supplier, or equipment vendor are encouraged to review the bidding documents on electronically.
