As of December 15, 2023, per owner, this project is in design phase. There have been no calls for construction as of yet. They don’t anticipate a letting date until summer of 2025. This timeframe is subject to extension. St. Louis County Department of Transportation (SLCDOT) is requesting the services of a single highly qualified consulting engineering firm to perform professional services. Qualifications-Based Selection (QBS), in accordance with RSMo. 8.285 through 8.291, will be used to determine the successful respondent. Note, St. Louis County Revised Ordinances 107.071 SLCRO, 107.400 SLCRO and 107.401 SLCRO are not applicable to the selection process for this contract. This contract provides for design and plan production for mill and overlay, base repairs, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) improvements, and traffic signal upgrades on Baumgartner Road from Old Baumgartner Road to Telegraph Road and Bennington Place from Fee Fee Road to Marine Avenue. Questions regarding this solicitation shall be submitted in writing to the project contact above no later than 9:00 a.m. on February 9, 2022. Failure to comply with the requirements of the RFQ may negatively impact the evaluation of the consultant's Statement of Qualifications. A Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) goal of 16% has been established for this project. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
