Mark outside of envelope with "Cheboygan HS - Science Room Renovation and Window and Door Replacement" Project Description: The scope of the work includes but is not limited to: Science Room Renovations: Renovation of five (5) existing science classrooms. Demolition or partial removal of existing base cabinetry, lab stations, teacher stations, white boards and display cubbies where indicated with associated mechanical and electrical work. Existing tall storage cabinets and upper wall cabinetry to remain where indicated or be removed/salvaged for reinstall or provided to owner as indicated. Flooring to be partially replaced in four (4) classrooms and all new flooring in one (1) classroom. Provide and install new cabinetry with associated mechanical and electrical work for lab stations (includes sinks and gas valves at some locations) and teacher stations and as indicated. New electrical panels at two (2) classrooms. New gas shut offs at two (2) locations. Demo and patch/repair of existing floor slab for new mechanical and electrical locations in classrooms as indicated. Interior finishes include prep/repair of wall surfaces for new paint finish where indicated and flooring as indicated. Asbestos testing and remediation by owner. New loose furnishings and new white boards by owner. Window and Door Replacement: Partial window and door replacement at locations indicated on drawings. New aluminum frame windows and door frames. New FRP/Aluminum hybrid doors. Reinstallation of existing card access readers at door frames. Repair and touch-up of adjacent finishes as required. New closers with hold open at fire rated doors to be connected to existing electrical and fire alarm control systems. Add Alternate #1 includes providing ADA push pads and power door operators at two locations as indicated. Asbestos testing and remediation by owner including existing window and door removal and temporary opening protection.
