Remodeling of a detention facility in Cheboygan, Michigan. Completed plans call for the remodel of a detention facility.
As of December 15, 2023, project was awarded to the following contractors: Demolition- Block- Floor- Ceiling construction awarded to Matt Barber Masonry with $126,500, Door Hardware, Accessories and Furniture awarded to JTA Builders LLC- dba- WDSI with $58,300 and Doors and Window Glazing awarded to JTA Builders LLC- dba- WDSI with $68,950. Total awarded amount is $253,750.00. Bids Cheboygan County is requesting Sealed Bids from qualified contractors to remodel a portion of the Cheboygan County Jail to construct two Juvenile Detention Cells The County is the general contractor for the project Separate bids are being sought for general demolition and block work plumbing HVAC systems and electrical work by respective trade . Cheboygan County reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals or any portion of a proposal in the best interest of the County.
