The work to be bid on is as follows: 2022 Water Treatment Plant Sludge Removal, Contract Number 21-1359-25. The work consists of: Removal and disposal of water treatment plant sludge in existing lagoons. The Contractor shall conform to all applicable local, State and Federal laws, rules and regulations; be responsible for jobsite safety and means and methods; supply all labor, equipment and materials; shall be responsible for identifying and contracting with a proper disposal facility; conforming with facility requirements; paying for all disposal costs; and providing documentation as described in the specifications. The contract is for a one-year term, with the option to renew for two (2) additional one-year terms. The contract period per term is: 90 calendar days for substantial completion (sludge removal completion) and 150 days to final completion, both from the date of the notice to proceed for that year. The bidder should note the requirements in 19.06 of the instructions to bidders for items required to be submitted with bids and prior to contract awards.
