Town Hall Weatherization and Insulation All questions must be emailed no later than 3.00 PM February 21, 2022 to procurement@townofrowley.org The scope of work includes installation of insulation and air sealing in the basement and attic of the Town Hall building. The existing heating system relies on outside air for combustion. This must be preserved in envelope modifications. Additionally, a portion of the basement wall along the front (Main Street side) of the building needs to be repaired. That portion of the foundation wall is not included in this request for quote A. Attic Provide and install shields for insulation around sixteen (16) non-IC recessed lights.Install propavent type vent channels at floor/roof intersection in every truss/joist bay Air seal attic with 1" closed cell foam (spray) in ceiling frame Insulate to R49 minimum with cross batted fiberglass or blown in cellulose Fabricate catwalk to provide access across attic area. B. Basement Install spray foam on rim joists R20 minimum. Encapsulate with intumescent paint Install R15 closed cell insulation to stone foundation walls encapsulate with intumescent paint, except in furnace room Install R15 closed cell insulation to ceiling of furnace room. Encapsulate with intumescent paint Install R15 closed cell insulation to basement side of masonry partition to furnace room. Encapsulate with intumescent paint C. Basement side entry R20 spray foam framed walls R38 spray foam roof frame Encapsulate with intumescent paint or enclose with sheetrock, taped joints D.
