Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Litchfield, Connecticut. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Each Bidder must deposit with his/her bid a certified check, or a bid bond, for not less than five percent (5%) of the bid as provided in the Information for Bidders. The attention of the Bidders is called to the requirement for minimum wage rates to be paid under this Contract. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids in whole or in part, to award any item, group of items, or total bid and to waive any informality or technical defects, if it is deemed to be in the best interest of the Town of Litchfield. No Bidder may withdraw their bid within ninety (90) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. CONTRACTORS that find discrepancies and/or errors in or between plans, specifications, and other matters, must immediately notify DPW c/o Raz Alexe, P.E., Director of Public Works/Town Engineer, 101 Russell Street, Litchfield, CT 06759 or at ralexe@townoflitchfield.org in writing not less than seven (7) days before the scheduled bid opening.
