Demolition and site work for a residential development in Abilene, Kansas. Completed plans call for the demolition of a residential development.
To bid on the demolition, removal and backfilling of 1635 feet of 6 feet block wall and footings l Bid shall include removal of 1470' of 6.25' tall, 4" wide split face block wall, 82, 24" square by 6.5' tall block posts. Also includes the removal of 1470' of 8" wide by 24" deep concrete footings and 164' (82 individual) by 24" wide by 24" deep concrete post footings from the property. These total 196 cubic yards of haydite blocks and 98 cubic yards of concrete footings. The proposed bid items may be examined at: Office of the City Clerk, 419 Broadway, P.O. Box 519, Abilene, Kansas 67410-0519 or online. Bid security is not required on this project. OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Bid shall include removal of 1470' of 6.25' tall, 4" wide split face block wall, 82, 24" square by 6.5' tall block posts. Also includes the removal of 1470' of 8" wide by 24" deep concrete footings and 164' (82 individual) by 24" wide by 24" deep concrete post footings from the property. These total 196 cubic yards of haydite blocks and 98 cubic yards of concrete footings. > The contractor shall be responsible for repair of any damaged underground utilities except irrigation lateral lines. > Bid shall include backfill of excavations and clean-up/finish grading. > The contractor shall be responsible for attaining a demolition permit from the City Inspector. > Bidder agrees to complete all work within 21 days of notice of award(mutually agreed upon start date) . > Work shall not include the removal of trees unless specifically marked.
