**As of November 21, 2023, project was awarded to J & K Contracting LC, awarded amount is $213,734.60** The project consists of approximately 1,800 LF of waterline construction along NE 14th Street extending to N Kuney Street and N Oak Street. In addition, this project includes directional drilling, utility trenching, backfill, pavement removal and replacement and all other associated work as indicated in the drawings in accordance with the specifications. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instruction to Bidders. The check(s) or bond(s) shall be made payable to City of Abilene, Kansas as security that the bidder(s) to whom the award(s) are made will enter into contract to build the improvements bid upon and furnish the required bonds and insurance. The Owner reserves the right to accept any bid which it deems most advantageous to the Owner, and to reject any or all bids submitted and to hold as many bids as it desires for consideration for a period of sixty (60) days after the bids are open. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents.
