The City of Arlington seeks to retain a multidisciplinary consulting firm to provide professional services for the update to the City of Arlington's 2024 Comprehensive Plan. The City desires to have a well-organized and detailed comprehensive plan that is user friendly and complies with the requirements of the Growth Management Act and Puget Sound Regional Council Policy Vision 2050, and the Snohomish County Countywide Planning Policies (CWPP). Qualified consultants will have substantial experience in land use planning, visioning, demographic analysis, economic analysis, GIS mapping, capital facilities planning, community design, and public outreach facilitation. The 2024 - 2044 planning horizon is of the utmost importance as we navigate through critical issues that will have profound effects in Arlington for years to come. It is the city's desire to create a comprehensive plan that establishes clear and obtainable objectives that can be easily evaluated for their effectiveness. It is the responder's responsibility to deliver proposals to the specified location prior to the date and time for the close of acceptance. The City is not responsible for lost, misdirected, or submittals delivered after the deadline. Note: Selection is not based on the lowest cost proposal. Each proposal shall state that it is valid for a period of ninety (90) calendar days from the date of submission.
