2022 Ryan Avenue Road Improvement Project.' Bids for this Contract shall be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Bid. All Bids shall be effective for sixty (60) calendar days. The Work must be completed prior to July 1, 2022. The Work generally consists of furnishing all equipment, labor and materials for, but not necessarily limited to, the following: Shoulder grading, paving reconstruction (milling/excavation, 2A subbase & bituminous binder course), vegetative shoulder restoration, stone shoulder back up, incidental milling and sealing. The work location is more specifically identified in the project manual/bid documents. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a satisfactory Performance Bond, and a Labor and Material Payment Bond, each in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price with a corporate surety approved by the Owner. The project documents contain provisions regarding the applicability of PA Prevailing Wages. Liquid Fuels funds will be utilized for funding a portion of this project and all materials and work must conform to the most recent edition of PADOT Publication 408 unless otherwise specified. Bidders must be either a PennDOT Pre-qualified Prime or PennDOT Pre-qualified Sub-Contractor for Work Class F. Rush Township reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or portions thereof, and to accept any Bid, or portion of Bid, which in its judgment is in the best interest of the Township. Rush Township and their representatives are not responsible for bids mailed but not received. All BIDS shall be sealed and marked as identified in the project documents
