The Town of Creston is requesting proposals from qualified, licensed professional Consulting Engineering firms to undertake a third party evaluation/ risk assessment of the Creston Valley diking system leading to a prioritized, costed action plan to address the flood risk in a coordinated, collaborative manner. The approximate timeline for this project is expected to be 9 months. Within the proposal, the proponent is responsible for committing to a schedule, for the purposes of estimating the cost of services. The project budget for consulting service is $90,000 excluding GST. This project shall be completed by the end of December 2022. Questions by proponents can be submitted in writing to Joel Comer email: Joel.Comer@creston.ca no later than MARCH 18, 2022. Proponents submitting multiple questions over multiple days must summarize all the questions they wish clarification on in the last email sent. Response to written questions will be published on the BC Bid website on or before MARCH 21, 2022, and it is the sole responsibility of the proponent to monitor the website regularly to check for updates. No other form of notification will be provided. Delays caused by any delivery service (including Canada Post and/or courier) shall not be grounds for an extension of the deadline. Proposals arriving later than the deadline will not be accepted and thus returned to the proponent or destroyed. The Town of Creston shall not be held responsible for submission documents submitted in an envelope not labeled in accordance with the above instructions.
